Hallmark Magic Ornaments...they keep getting better!
What Hallmark Magic Ornament holds the record for the MOST PARTS?....

Keepsake Artist Ken Crow and Hallmark created a MAGIC MASTERPIECE with this one!

The 2007 Candy Cane Lane ornament captures the fun of a favorite Holiday Activity for many of us, driving slowly through a "Candy Cane Lane" decorated neighborhood and enjoying the Christmas lights and deocrations. With this ornament, visit each of the three houses on the street by turning the triangle shaped ornament from one side to the next. Press the peppermint candy button below each home. Each house will play a song, and as the songs play three cars travel around the block. Tall snow covered trees on both sides of the houses change color to the music as you enjoy this synchronized light show!

The first house features Santa & his reindeer on the roof as well as Santa at the Candy Cane Lane entrance. Push the peppermint candy to hear the lyrics and music to the song "Candy Cane Lane". Then travel to a home decorated with three angels, stars and a nativity scene dsplay with a lighted manger. Enjoy the music, "Away in a Manger".
Lastly visit the home decorated from roof to curb with snowmen and hear the music to "We Wish You A Merry Christmas".

This ornament holds the record for MORE PARTS than any other Hallmark ornament produced to date. It has 59 plastic parts PLUS 81 components. WOW Hallmark, that's amazing and makes the original box price of $44.00 a bargain!

If you missed it last year...we have good news...We have it available on our site at Just typ
e '2007 Candy' in the search box on the right side of your screen. I'll bet this ornament will be a family favorite in your home, as it is in mine!

Hallmark Frosty Friends Series Ornaments
Who sculpted them & how long will they continue?

Hallmark's longest running and arguably most popular ornament series, Frosty Friends features a friendly eskimo and his pals. The Hallmark Keepsake Frosty Friend series began in 1980 with an ornament called " A Cool Yule " . Today, the #1 Frosty Friends Cool Yule is the most collectible Hallmark Ornament Series ornament. It commands a higher secondary market price than any other regular production Hallmark Keepsake ornament and the demand seems unending.

Many Hallmark Ornament Collectors believe that Hallmark Artist Ed Seale sculpted all of the Frosty Friends Series ornaments. That is not so, Ed did not sculpt the ornaments that started the series, nor did he sculpt the ornaments that continue the series today.

The 1980 #1Cool Yule and 1981 #2 Igloo Frostys were sculpted by Jim Mahon. Jim left Hallmark to go work with the Muppets. I'm certain in 1980 he never imagined the more than 28 year popularity and value that these two ornaments enjoy and wonder if he knows today?

Popular Hallmark Artist Ed Seale sculpted the 1983 #3 through the 2005 #26th in the series. Ed is well know for all the creativity and personality he captured in his designs. Ed also sculpted a similar Polar Pals series in his Ed Seale Designs collection. Click here to view Ed Seale Designs collection.

Ed's retirement from Hallmark resulted in his passing of the "Frosty sculpting tools" to Hallmark Artist Sharon Viskar. Sharon created the 2006 #27, 2007 #28, and the recently announced 2008 #29 Frosty which will be intruduced and available in Hallmark Gold Crown Stores at the July 12-13 2008 Hallmark Ornament Premiere.

We Frosty Friend collectors have had far more than 29 ornaments to enjoy and collect. Hallmark has offered miniature ornaments as well as many "complement" and special "colorway/repaint ornaments that are in addition to the series pieces. This busy little eskimo has also been featured on a number of other Hallmark collectibles including Snow Globes, stocking hangers, magnets, lapel pins, stickers and more. Take a look these Frosty Friend "extras" as well as the official 29 series ornaments on our site - we list them on the Frosty Friends Series page.

Will this series end at 30 in 2009? The thousands that collect this series wonder, but only Hallmark knows that answer. And guess what...they're not telling! My guess is "NO" sells so well and remains so popular I think Hallmark will keep on finding creative new things for Frosty and his pals to do to entice us! But, I assure you I have no inside information, your guess is as good as mine! Happy Frosty Collecting, Nicki

Hallmark Kiddie Car Classics

The popular Kiddie Car Classic Collection began in 1992. In 2001, the last eight cars were issued and all "active issue" cars were retired in 2001.

Kiddie Car Classics, are NOT ornaments - these limited or numbered edition vehicles began as die cast replicas of the vintage Pedal Cars of yesteryear. Throughout the years of issue Hallmark expanded the line to include other small vehicles of childhood; such as those issued in the Sidewalk Cruisers line - and Custom Kiddie Cars created in the minds of the Hallmark artists. In 1997 nostalgic settings were added to the collection to offer avid fans creative display settings.

Kiddie Car Classics were produced in two sizes - regular size and miniature. Average size for regular size Kiddie Cars is approximately 4" H x 7" L x 3" W. Average size for miniature Kiddie Cars is 2" H x 4" L x 1½" W.

At Hooked on Hallmark Ornaments we currently have a large selection of the Kiddie Cars in stock and ON SALE! Plus take advantage of our Father's Day 20% off offer! You can view the Kiddie Cars and our current offers by clicking here.
